Each successive rank controls a larger territory, and each boss is in command of the ranks below them within their territory. When a crew grows large enough in number, a member is promoted and given their own crew in order to take over new territory. While many Blueback war parties or raiders massacre survivors as an intimidation tactic, it is also very common for Bluebacks to establish hideouts near settled territories, which they can manipulate through their control of resources and intimidation.
