'''Pixel66''' was an anonymous, decentralized hacktivist syndicate prior to [[The Collapse]]. They are responsible for leaking classified documents that seemed to implicate the United States government in a project involving human-animal hybridization, which some groups (such as [[Red Wasp]]) believe to be the cause of the Collapse. After the grid went down, Pixel 66 was severely hobbled, though it is rumored that some of the members survived to see the [[Aftermath]], and are able to work in limited ways using satellite internet service. Because of power outages in most areas, access to the internet is limited to the small number of servers that have been reactivated. Pixel66 is also responsible for bringing back Reddit and Discord, which are the top sites for survivors to pass information and news.

Several months before the public knew of the existence of the [[cybrids]], a member of Pixel66 by the username [[L1Qu1D]] posted classified documents to several internet wiki sites, which discussed a secret government program operating out of a black site called [[Facility 42]], which was believed to be located in the former United States Army post of [[Fort Carson]]. The documents discussed the potential hybridization of humans and animals (cybernetic hybrids), which would be used in military operations.
