Characters may purchase items in three ways: using the common currency of matchbooks, match boxes, or lighters; New Federation quibs (where accepted); or through bartering.
Common Currency
Matchbooks, boxes, and lighters - due to their ubiquity and utility - are the new common currency. Each has a specific value:
- Matchbooks - 1 credits
- Matchboxes - 5 credits
- Lighters - 10 credits
Quibs
Quibs are the slang term for the new currency issued by the Federation of New American States. 1 quib coin is equal to 10 credits.
