Perception is one of 6 base Traits that determines how perceptive a character is. Think of this as how well they can see, hear, smell, etc. Characters with high perception excel at things like building reconnaissance, sniping, hunting, tracking, etc.
Things PER Affects
Perception score affects a number of different skills in the game:
- Perception skills: Animalry, Appraisal, Foraging, Hunting, Navigation, Reconnaissance, Scavenging, Tracking, Weather
- Mystical Influence skills
- Reflex and Immunity
- Firearms
- the usage of certain weapons, apparel, or items
