Survival is paramount. Staving off disease and people who want to kill you for want of your shoes is one thing, but food presents a more pressing issue. In the wasted corpse of civilization, hunger is your greatest adversary. This is why the hunter is a treasured companion. With keen senses and measured reflexes, the hunter can locate and procure sustenance where others cannot. Be it a creature of land, air, or water, the hunter can get it. The wilderness is home. Plants and animals are ripe for the taking if you know where to look.
