Characters may purchase items in three ways: using the common currency of matches, lighters, batteries, and pills; New Federation quibs (where accepted); or through bartering.
Common Currency
Matches, lighters, batteries, and pills - due to their ubiquity and utility - are the new common currency. Each has a specific value:
- Matches - 1 credits
- Lighters - 5 credits
- Batteries - 10 credits
- Pills - 20 credits
- Quibs - 25 credits
Quibs
Quibs are the slang term for the new currency issued by the Federation of New American States. 1 quib coin is equal to 25 credits.
