Strength is one of 6 base Traits that determines how physically capable a character is. Think of this as raw physical strength. Characters with high strength excel at things like breaking down doors, sprinting, jumping, etc. Because Strength influences more things than any of the other Traits, there are only 3 skills associated with it, instead of 9.
Things STR Affects
Strength score affects a number of different skills in the game:
- Strength skills: Athletics, Climbing, Destruction
- Force Influence skills
- Physical Resilience and Speed
- Blunt Weapons
- pack size
- damage with melee weapons
- the usage of certain weapons, apparel, or items
- throwing distance
Melee Damage
A high strength score adds a bonus to attacks landed with edged, blunt or unarmed weapons:
- 8 gives a +1 damage bonus
- 9 gives a +3 damage bonus
- 10 gives a +5 damage bonus
