In order to play Rainwall, you will need the following items:
- Character Sheets
- 10-sided dice (set of 10 for standard edition or a pair for swift edition)
- a pencil
- friends
Character Sheets
Your character sheets are used to keep track of important statistics and items. There are two sheets. You can create a new character or choose to print out a pre-generated character sheet for any of the six core Archetypes.
Dice
Arctix Standard
Rainwall uses a set of 10 dice, each with 10 sides. These can be purchased from your local gaming shop or you can order them online. It is also standard practice to have 1 of the dice in your set be a different color from the rest, but this is optional. It just makes it easier during combat, as the hit placement relies on this alternate-colored die.
Swift Edition
If you would like a more streamlined experience, swift edition only requires 2 x ten-sided dice. Same as above, it is also helpful if one of those dice is a different color or a percentile die.
Pencil
A pencil is preferable, as you will frequently erase.
Friends
While it is possible to play all the characters in your party yourself, it might be more fun to have others in your party.
