Melissa Jacobson
Melissa Jacobson is a character who lives in the town of Clutchdale, who can be encountered in the Battlefield: Clutchdale mission pack. She can be found in Vincent Manor (Bldg. 2), being held captive by Bluebacks raiders.
Bio
Melissa Jacobson is the wife of Sheriff deputy Tom Jacobson (who can be found in Bldg 8). She was kidnapped by raiders and taken to Vincent Manor.
Details
If you encounter the deputy in his home, he implores you to rescue his wife. He cannot accompany you, as he is drunk, but if you go to Vincent Manor, you can deal with the Bluebacks there. There are a number of ways to rescue her:
- kill all the bluebacks
- convince them to let her go with either Negotiate, Persuade, or Seduce skills (difficulty 7)
- trade with them with either Barter or Bribe
- enthrall the leader with either Bewitch or Rapport first (difficulty 4), then use social influence, which lowers the difficulty to 3
If you manage to rescue her, she will tell you that even though the bluebacks "horribly mistreated her" (she will not go into details), she does not want to go back to her husband. She says she went willingly with them to get away from him. She says her husband is a piece of shit, and asks you to tell him that she is dead.
If you return her to him, she will kill herself, unless you talk her out of it. If you talk her out of it, she will kill him instead. If you tell him she is dead, he will kill himself, unless you talk him out of it.
